About the Role
P3+Uplift’s client, a leading financial services and insurance company, is seeking a Security Solution Architect to join their Enterprise Applications Division. This role is critical in defining and maintaining the organization’s security strategy and architecture. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop security processes, frameworks, and configurations that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
As a Security Solution Architect, you’ll play a key role in securing integrations—ranging from Salesforce to mainframe environments—and tackling complex data security challenges. Reporting to the Principal Security Architect, you’ll contribute to security governance, obtain Architecture Review Board approvals, and occasionally lead high-impact security initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement security architecture strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in the Architecture Review Board and support enterprise-wide security initiatives.
- Assist in shaping security policies, standards, and roadmaps alongside senior security leaders.
- Manage security tools and configurations, including firewalls, WAFs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain accurate inventories of infrastructure and applications.
- Collaborate with compliance and privacy teams to ensure regulatory and data protection requirements are met.
- Support the technical security team in incident response and troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 10+ years of IT experience, primarily in security.
- Security certifications preferred (CISSP, CCSP, GWEB).
- Strong understanding of security architecture frameworks (SABSA, Zachman, TOGAF).
- Experience in security architecture, risk assessment, and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in cloud security, database security, and software development security best practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and privacy standards in financial services.
