Software Engineer Remote Remote
Our client is looking for a right fit individual to join them and add their skills to their team as a Software Engineer for a contract that will go on until 12/31/24. This client’s team is a group of individuals who work hard and love to collaborate and learn together. They are looking for an individual who can work with guidance on software development/solutions. With guidance, conduct analysis and development, elicit requirements, write correct and clean coding, automated testing, debugging, documentation, quality assurance review, implementation, and maintenance. Someone who can work with guidance on multiple layers of the solution if needed. Participates in technical design of features.
We are looking for someone who is proficient with COBOL, JCL, Stored procedures, SQL, and Relational Databases.

“Nice To Have” Skills
-Store Procedure experience
-SQL and Relational Database experience
Project you will be working on:
– This team is working on retiring old legacy systems. Legacy systems are not well documented and need help to document and modernize everything. One project has a 6th month timeline, another a year+ timeline.
Team Size/Structure: 7 team members – most of which are remote
Specific Industry/Company experience required: No
On-Call Requirements: May be required to provide on-call support.
Travel Requirements: None
Interview Process: 1 1 hour interview – hoping to see enough experience that they will not need to do any sort of tech screening interview.
