Join our dynamic client’s organization as a Sr. DevOps Engineer and help us establish DevOps practices related to software delivery that will change the game!
As our client’s DevOps Engineer, you will work collaboratively across development, infrastructure, quality assurance, and operations teams to implement practices that are consistent across projects, code repositories, and servers. You will leverage your extensive knowledge of Agile principles to build, configure, and own the delivery of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) technologies.
Your contributions will be critical to ensuring that our security protocols are adhered to, while also increasing system efficiency and lowering human intervention time on tasks. You will help us design information and operational support systems, evaluate application performance, identify potential bottlenecks, develop solutions, and implement them with the help of the Development team.
We are looking for someone who can help us achieve the highest levels of system and infrastructure availability, acting proactively. As our client’s Sr. DevOps Engineer, you will implement security protocols related to the deployment pipeline and infrastructure, including automated code scanning practices. Additionally, you will incorporate shift-left concepts into the coding and testing processes.
To succeed in this role, you should have 6+ years of experience using Agile methodology, experience deploying and monitoring web applications, desktop applications, and interfaces in an on-premise server environment, and strong knowledge of CI/CD technologies, preferably GitLab and Jenkins. You should also have development skills in technologies such as Java, SQL, YAML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Our ideal candidate will have experience fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from design to production, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX-/Linux-based environments, infrastructure testing strategies, and systems reliability, load balancing, monitoring, and logging.
