Engineering Technical Lead Des Moines Iowa
Our client is looking for a right fit individual to join them and add their skills to their team as an Engineering Technical Lead. This role can be done remotely, but looking for candidates that are in Des Moines, IA able to come into the office.
A big focus of this role will be soft skills, leadership, and improving the agile practices of the team. Improve how they deliver. This person will be meeting with business partners, architects, and doing some hands-on coding and pairing with the team.
Required Technical Skills:
-Experience leading IT Security, Identity and Access Management or Enterprise Systems Projects.
-Experience in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all layers of CIAM applications, including Account Provisioning, Authentication, -Proofing, Authorization, etc.
-Okta, Ping, SailPoint or equivalent OAuth & OIDC experience
-Experience with cloud technologies and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, etc.
-Experience with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps
-Understanding of or experience in different Database techs like SQL server, DocumentDB or MongoDB, etc.
Qualifications:
-College Degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems preferred
-Minimum 12 years’ IT development experience or equivalent preferred
-Experience as Technical Lead and/or Project Architect on very complex multi-subsystem solution delivery projects preferred
-Effective verbal and written communications skills and the ability to communicate with business partners and other IT staff
-Problem solving skills sufficient to perform research and recommend a proposed solution to problems
-Able to work on multiple tasks and meet established deadlines
-Able to effectively direct and coordinate the work of other team members on a project without having HR management responsibility for them
-Knowledge of computer programming languages as required for the system
Project you will be working on:
-IAM overhaul
– They’re about 5-10% done on the IAM overhaul that they started last year. So, this person will be able to come in and help mold the project to their preference.
