About the Role:
P3+Uplift’s client, a well-established organization in the insurance sector, is searching for a Senior Project Manager to lead and manage multiple high-impact projects within their Operations division. The role will support critical business and IT initiatives aimed at driving operational excellence, system implementations, and business growth. You’ll play a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing project lifecycles, and driving measurable outcomes, with a strong focus on Agile/Iterative methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead multiple large-scale, complex projects with accelerated timelines, utilizing Agile/Iterative methodologies.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with scope, cost, and schedules outlined in the project plan.
- Coordinate resources across Operations projects, overseeing parallel work streams and ensuring effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Contribute to Agile roadmap delivery, PM governance, and the Portfolio Approval Committee process.
- Mentor other Project Managers, preparing Project Steering Group materials and prioritizing initiatives across the organization.
- Participate in the PM community of practice and maintain the roadmap for initiatives, managing dependencies across projects.
- Collaborate closely with the PMO to ensure consistent project delivery and adhere to established processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Project Management, with 2+ years in a cross-functional Agile environment.
- Experience with Finance reporting, process improvement, and large-scale system implementations preferred.
- Knowledge of Project Management and SDLC processes; experience with Atlassian Jira is a plus.
- Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is preferred.
